empowerHERhair, lovingly referred to as “HER”, already had an established brand when we were brought on board. We helped HER to level up by fine tuning the brand to reflect the clean and minimalist aesthetic Elena had been envisioning for some time—our specialty. We set HER up with a fresh business card design and product packaging to match.

Content Creation
As much as Elena wanted to bring us on board to shoot professional photo and video content, it was out of the budget and not exactly necessary. This circumstance is a prime example of how we find a way to work within our client’s means. She had a library full of unused content that we were able to re-brand to our liking for HER website, booking platform, and social media. We also assisted HER in reorganizing HER Dropbox while creating a shoot & drop system that would work for HER assistant who shot the content, Elena who approved it, and us who both edited and posted it all.
Website Overhaul
What was supposed to be a simple “website refresh” quickly became an entire overhaul of HER previous website. Elena had a LOT of content that we were able to help consolidate and simplify. We migrated HER over from GoDaddy to Squarespace and repurposed a lot of the same copy and photos, editing and adding video to show her in action right away on the Home page. The brand was definitely elevated with the website’s new sleek and modern design.
Social Media
As with all of our clients, we had to do a considerable amount of R&D to effectively craft a social media strategy that would work for HER key demo and specific industry, while working with both pre-existing and fresh content. We learned industry terms and identified influencers, studied HER niche services and products as a brand ambassador, and honed in on HER love for the Lord to create a heavy social media content calendar & posting schedule. HER reach was expanded through the addition of other social media platforms, taking advantage of unused features on pre-existing ones like YouTube Shorts, and successfully instigating user-generated content from high-profile followers.
Clients often ask us, “Do you know how to do ____?” It is always an added bonus when we are able to assist our clients in areas they didn’t expect we’d be able to help them or would want to help them for that matter. Elena needed help consolidating all of HER communication and scheduling tools. We were able to move HER over to a more secure email provider and set-up email forwarding and sync several calendars including the integration of her booking platform.
